Chad L. Coleman, known to Walking Dead fans as Tyreese, shocked New York City subway riders Friday when he went off on a rant about "humanity."

TMZ posted cellphone video footage on Friday night showing the actor pacing the subway car, shouting, "I want to know where my humanitarians are!"

He identifies himself by name and says he's from The Wire (where played Dennis "Cutty" Wise for four seasons) and The Walking Dead. His Dead character, a fan favorite on both TV and in the comic books, was killed off in March towards the end of Season 5.

When TMZ followed up with the actor, he said that he was reacting to a couple of people on sitting near him who were trying to identify who he was. When they used the N-word, that was the last straw for him. He also explained that his pleas for humanity were in reference to the situation in Baltimore.
