Manny Pacquiao is an excellent fighter but in case things don’t work out for him in the ring, he has a backup career as a singer ready to go.

The boxer is preparing for his May 2 fight against undefeated Floyd Mayweather by laying down a track titled “Lalaban ako para sa Pilipino” or “I will fight for the Philippines,” which he plans to use as his entrance music.

Pacquiao collaborated with composer Lito Camo on the song. Footage provided by Philippines TV station SAKSI gives us a first listen at an excerpt from what will undoubtedly be a knockout ballad.

There are many worse songs Pacman could have selected, and you can never go wrong with expressing national pride. The argument could be made that nothing will ever be lamer than Mayweather walking out with Justin Bieber. When juxtaposed with that, Pacquiao’s power ballad is like listening to Journey, which isn’t great but it’s better than having Justin Bieber in your corner.
