Noah Baumbach's While We're Young moves from limited-release critical darling (84% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes) to national roll-out this weekend in 800 theaters.

The story of a middle-aged couple (Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts), enamored by a hipster, Brooklyn couple (Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried) is hitting a generational cord.

The role of generational technology plays a significant supporting role in the film, as this exclusive featurette shows.

As Baumbach says, each generation moves from cutting edge to "old fogey."

"I wanted to explore my conflicting feelings about what has been improved and what has been destroyed a little bit by the internet," says Baumbach.

Stiller adds the comedy explores, "what has happened in the last 15 years or 20 years to our culture based on the internet and social media — and how that's affected both the way people are creative and experience art and entertainment."
