When the Los Angeles Dodgers took on the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, it was the first time in MLB history that two reigning MVPs — Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and Angels outfielder Mike Trout — faced off against each other.
And the undisputed winner was Kershaw, hands down. Trout went 0-3 against the left-hander.
It looked a little something like this.
Plus, the Dodgers shut down the Angels, 3-1, and Kershaw increased his scoreless streak to 37 innings.
