The powder keg of a game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Houston Rockets fizzled to conclusion on Sunday when LeBron James missed two of the eight free throws he whiffed on during the course of the afternoon.

The game would finish 105-103, and while James put up 37 points, the 3-of-11 shooting from the line overshadowed an otherwise valiant effort in Kyrie Irving’s absence.

After the game, James copped to it. He blew it, and he knew that he blew it.

What’s more, James also referred to himself in the third person in a strange tweet.

He kept using “trick” in funny ways. I don’t think it means what he thinks it means.

After that tweet, James continued to find himself consumed by his most recent shortcoming, and his social media pity party found its way onto Instagram a few hours later.
