Nationwide makes everyone sad while watching the Super Bowl

The first half of the Super Bowl was filled with commercials seemingly designed to make you cry, and Nationwide completely killed the mood at Super Bowl parties across the country with a shocking ad to promote the prevention of childhood deaths. After being kissed by a girl for the first time and flying through the air, a young boy reveals that he never had any of those experiences because he drowned in a bathtub.

In a statement, Nationwide explained that it intended “start a conversation” with the ad.
