Gonzaga coach compares team to Cindy Crawford's mole

Gonzaga is a team that consistently wins its conference championship and competes well in the NCAA tournament despite being a mid-major team. But they haven’t been able to make a run through the tournament, something Gary Parrish points out on CBS Sports is something that is based on a combination of talent and of course, luck.

But Gonzaga coach Mark Few told Parrish it’s not something that bothers him that much — even though everyone keeps talking about it:

“It is the one thing you can knock us on, if you’re really looking to knock us on something,” Few said with a laugh. “That’s just how some people are wired; they want to knock everybody on something. Like … ‘Hey, Cindy Crawford has that mole, you know?’ So, sure, if you wanna knock us on no Final Fours, that’s fine.”

This season, the Bulldogs are eighth in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll and 4-0 on the season. So could this be the year that they make it to the Final Four?

Who knows. But if they don’t, hopefully Few can come up with some more amazing comparisons.
