In an epic ACC matchup Saturday, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest did something no two schools have done in nearly 10 years: go scoreless through regulation. The last time a game headed to overtime with the score knotted 0-0 was Arkansas State-Florida Atlantic in 2005.

Demon Deacons kicker Mike Weaver missed three field goal attempts in regulation, including a 37-yarder as time expired. But he made two in double overtime to ultimately clinch a 6-3 win.

Additionally, lest anyone forget Virginia Tech holds a mighty victory over Ohio State, so this outcome may or may not impact the Buckeyes in the eyes of the College Football Playoff selection committee.
