James Harden casually hit a shot from 85 feet but just missed the buzzer

To close a stellar first half performance in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals between the Rockets and the Warriors, James Harden blocked Harrison Barnes’ shot attempt, heaved the ball nearly the entire length of the court, and it went in.

Imagine being the kind of person that would see the following and think “rules are rules.”

85 feet. EIGHTY FIVE. I get that the ball was still in his hands when the clock hit zero, but couldn’t we just let him have that one for the sake of the narrative?

At any rate, the Rockets did end up winning 128-115 to stay alive and force a Game 5.
