Oregon senior cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, a first-team All-American, tore his ACL during a noncontact drill in practice last Tuesday, ending his college career just before the Ducks face Florida State in the Rose Bowl. Days after Ekpre-Olomu’s heartbreaking injury, he recorded a message to thank Ducks fans for all the support he’s received.

“Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to play in the College Football Playoff. I’m going to be here with the team in spirit. I had to deal with that knee injury at practice but everything’s going to be alright. I just want to thank you guys for all the support that I’ve had throughout these four years being here, I couldn’t have asked for anything better in my life to come to Oregon and experience this.”
