Michael Bublé's Christmas in New York
NBC, 8 ET/PT

Barbra Streisand makes a rare TV appearance on Michael Bublé's 'Christmas in New York' special.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a holiday special with as strong or eclectic a guest list as this Christmas songfest from Michael Bublé. The show was taped at Radio City Music Hall, so you'd expect to see The Rockettes — but Miss Piggy and Ariana Grande are kind of an odd duo to throw into the mix. What really sets Christmas apart, however, is Bublé's big get: Barbra Streisand, who seldom does TV, and almost never does guest spots on someone else's musical special. If you're a Streisand fan, this is the place to be.

Survivor
CBS, 8 ET/PT

With each passing season, it becomes clear that Survivor was appropriately named. It may not be the hottest show on TV anymore, but it is still popular enough to command three hours of prime time for its finale and still sturdy enough, it seems, to keep its fans happy. It has, indeed, managed to outwit, outplay and outlast most of its competitors, and that's no small achievement, on TV or elsewhere.

Black-ish
ABC, 9:30 ET/PT

For those who've fallen behind on this very good first-year sitcom, ABC is offering three repeat episodes tonight. If you only watch one, make it the first, "The Nod," which best represents the show's ability to blend the specific with the universal and serve both well.
