If you go to Friday's Senators game, you can score a free McDonald's hamburger

For anyone who happens to be attending the Senators-Sabres game Friday night, you’ll be in for a (literal) treat. If you like McDonald’s, that is.

According to the team’s website, anyone who has a ticket to the game can redeem it at McDonald’s on Saturday, Mar. 7, for a free burger. And, if the Sens score in the final minute of the third period, you also win a Big Mac.

Apparently, the promotion is happening because goaltender Andrew Hammond — shown above with his “Hamburglar” mask — is on a hot streak.

Fast food and hockey enthusiasts, rejoice.

(Thanks to the Senators for bringing this to our attention.)
