Video premiere: SHEL's 'Lost at Sea'

• SHEL consists of four sisters who live in Colorado and Tennessee
• The %22Lost at Sea%22 video was shot in Ireland during the group%27s first European tour
• The song appears on the group%27s 2012 self-titled album

In the video for Lost at Sea, premiering at USA TODAY, the four sisters of SHEL sing a siren song.

The group, which splits time between Ft. Collins, Colo.., and Nashville, draws it name from the first initial of each of the Holbrook sisters — Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza. And the group plays a Celtic-inspired pop-folk that might appeal to fans of Nickel Creek and the Civil Wars.

"We've always liked Irish music," Eva Holbrook says."Growing up, there was something that really drew us to it. We've always been really excited to go to Ireland. We'd watch clips from vacation ads on television and all kind of collectively thought the best vacation we could ever take would be to Ireland."

The sisters shot the video in Ireland during their first European tour earlier this year, using a gregarious taxi driver as a location scout. They realized later that two of the locations, Dunluce Castle and Giant's Causeway, also appeared in the cover art of Led Zeppelin's 1973 Houses of the Holy album.

"We also found out afterwards that one of the families that once owned Dunluce Castle had a young son that used to see a ghost of a lady wearing a wedding dress," says Eva, who appears in the video in just such a dress. "But when we were there, we were just on this epic adventure with a really awesome cabbie."

Lost at Sea appears on the SHEL's 2012 self-titled debut album, released in 2012.
