WACO, Texas (AP) — West Virginia leading scorer Juwan Staten missed Saturday's game at No. 19 Baylor because of a knee injury.

The senior guard wasn't in uniform during pregame warmups for the No. 20 Mountaineers, and school officials said he wouldn't play because of a left-knee injury.

Staten hurt his knee in a win over Texas on Tuesday night, when he scored seven points in 34 minutes.

Staten is fifth in the Big 12 with 14.5 points a game.
