For a split second after his banana-peel sideline slip, Robert Griffin III lay on his back motionless and the same thought went through the head of every Redskins fan — “oh no, this is how it ends, this is how RG3’s career goes into a tailspin, after pulling a Frerotte and tearing every ligament in his good knee.”

Thankfully, RG3 was unhurt. The momentary freeze was likely from (deserved) embarrassment after slipping on the rubberized warning track the surrounds FedEx Field.

That RG3 escaped without injury was secondary, however. Most importantly, did you notice who didn’t pick RG3 up off the ground? His offensive linemen, which is surely very telling.
