Don't mention fight-fixing in front of Anderson Silva; it'll make him cry

Who knew Anderson Silva was so emotional?

We’d already seen the former UFC middleweight champion cry in the locker room after losing the title to Chris Weidman at UFC 162. And now there’s this: Silva shedding tears Saturday on Brazilian TV show Legendários while addressing allegations that he intentionally threw the fight.

(Note: Unless you speak Portugese, you won’t understand what he’s saying, but the gist of his message is that he’s embarrassed and afraid of his home country looking bad.)

When UFC president Dana White addressed the same allegations, he lashed out at the “(bleeping) idiots” who believe the fight was fixed. But Anderson Silva is not Dana White. Anderson Silva has feelings, people.

It’s OK, Anderson. You can make things all better in the rematch.
