The Lakers were without Nick Young down the stretch in a tight game against the Thunder Friday night after Young was ejected with more than 11 minutes to play. Thunder center Steven Adams initiated contact with Young while coming down the floor, and Swaggy P responded with an elbow to Adams’ throat.

Young blamed Adams for the incident after the game, and called the center a ‘sneaky, dirty’ player.

“I got caught up in the moment, but Adams is a sneaky, dirty player. It happens, it’s a part of the game…. He did that last year to me, I got to take on the same person. It’s not my first rodeo with him. He starts talking the whole game, but, I didn’t think I was going to get ejected.”

With Young off the floor, the Lakers managed to stage a comeback but lost 104-103. Kobe Bryant (who went 3-of-15 from the floor) missed a jumper at the buzzer that would have won the game.
