Stanford wide receiver makes one-handed touchdown catch

Tied 3-3 in the third quarter, the No. 10 UCLA vs. No. 13 Stanford game wasn’t looking like much of a shootout. But on the Cardinal’s first drive of the second half, quarterback Kevin Hogan found receiver Kodi Whitfield for an unreal 30-yard touchdown.

Earlier in the day Tennessee freshman Marquez North also had an amazing one-handed catch that put the Vols in position to beat No. 9 South Carolina. We’re not sure which is better. They’re both jaw-droppers.

After being shocked by an unranked Utah on the road last week, Stanford dropped several spots in the polls this week. But as of right now, they’re on top of the Bruins 17-10 in the fourth quarter.
