Jennifer Lawrence has wacky weekend, goes glam in Cannes

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence relied on a chic trend for her twirl on the Cannes red carpet. The Oscar-winning actress looked glam in a black and white Christian Dior gown, Jimmy Choo heels and lots of Chopard jewels.

Despite thieves targeting the fine jeweler in a $1 million heist earlier this weekend, they were still able to lend out the following items to Lawrence: a pair of octagonal-cut emerald and pear-shaped white diamond drop earrings, a white diamond line bracelet and an emerald and white diamond cocktail ring.

While she looks beautiful, it's been an interesting few days for Lawrence. First, a man has been accused of stalking her family, allegedly traveling from Canada to her home state of Kentucky in an effort to make contact with the Lawrence clan.

Meanwhile, at a Cannes party celebrating her upcoming film Catching Fire, Lawrence and her co-star Liam Hemsworth almost went up in flames, according to Just Jared. The stars were sitting in VIP when a tray of candles fell over near them. Luckily, the young stars got out of the way just in time.
