The Voice |NBC, 8 ET/PT

When those chairs turn around tonight, they'll reveal two new judges: Shakira and Usher, sitting (and spinning) in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. New or old judges aside, these opening chair-crazed, blind auditions are traditionally the best entertainment The Voice has to offer, which doesn't count as a compliment. It's hard to take a singing contest seriously when the contestants are continually upstaged by the furniture.

Barabbas |Reelz, 9 ET/6 PT

Reelz kicks off this timely, imported miniseries adaptation of Par Lagerkvist's classic religious novel, previously done for the big screen in 1961 with Anthony Quinn in the title role. This time, Billy Zane stars as the man who's chosen to be spared from crucifixion instead of Christ. History's The Bible has proven there's a large, untapped and under-served audience for religious programming; even if they don't all turn out for Barabbas, some network executive should be thinking of a way to attract them.

Revolution |NBC, 10 ET/PT

Anyone following NBC's current headline-producing conflicts would be forgiven for thinking Revolution was a docu-drama about the network's once and future late night uprisings. (Really, NBC doesn't have enough problems? It has to actively create more?) But no, it's the spring return of one of the network's few fall successes, which picks up from a long absence with the rebels high-tailing it away from a newly empowered Monroe. Considering the show's been gone since November, viewers of The Voice should probably brace themselves for a fairly steady drumbeat of "in case you've forgotten" reminders.

Shakira and Usher sit in for Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green when 'The Voice' returns Monday night.
